Bloomington Golf Course Details
While the championship golf course is rolling in places it is a popular venue for walking golfers. It is but a short distance from each green to the next tee.
It is our goal to provide you with a challenging, but enjoyable, golf course through which you not only can test your skills, but improve them. We believe the atmosphere is unmatched in the area and intend to provide service to match.
Requirements to play the IU Golf Course
Speed of play is critical and each group is expected to keep up with those ahead. Four hours and 15 minutes is considered the longest anyone should take, and under most conditions the pace of play should be faster. During peak periods a course ranger may encourage quicker play, and in some cases ask a slower group to allow faster players to go through.
Collared shirts are requested. Tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, sleeveless shirts, or mid-drift tops are prohibited during play. Swimming attire, jogging/gym shorts, cutoffs, or sweat pants are not allowed during play. Shirts may not be removed on the course. Brief shorts are not permitted for ladies. Bare feet, shoes with heels, work boots or spiked shoes are not allowed and, while not required, footwear with soft spikes is recommended.
Each player must have his or her own golf bag. Golf sets are available for rent from the Pro Shop for $10. Clubs may be rented for the par-three course for $10.
All golfers and accompanying guests must check-in at the Pro Shop prior to proceeding onto the golf course.
Playing in a group more than four is prohibited.
Alcohol is not sold at the IU Golf Course and personal coolers are prohibited.
There are times during peak periods when players will be asked to join another group.
Special events may close course at times.
